ABOUT UMKHUMBI LODGE
The team at Umkhumbi strive to make your stay in Hluhluwe as comfortable as possible. We are a small bush lodge in a private nature reserve and the atmosphere here is relaxed and friendly. We welcome families with children of all ages. Umkhumbi Lodge is situated within Kuleni Game Park, which is home to much wildlife including zebras and giraffes, and many bird species. A network of trails can be walked or you can bring your bicycles.
Guests can enjoy the bar/lounge area which looks out over the reserve and the distant hills. We have a pool table and a selection of games and puzzles for the children to enjoy while you relax and watch the sunset! We have a swimming pool and a kids play area. Children also love to play with Shadow and Copper, our two friendly resident dogs, who will greet you with an enthusiastic wag of the tail.
Please note that we do not have bar or restaurant facilities at present (August/September 2021).
